The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is Spurs' new home since 2019 and one of the most advanced venues in the world. Designed to switch between Premier League and NFL games in hours thanks to a dual retractable pitch, it seats 62,850, features England's largest single-tier stand (the South Stand) and includes its own microbrewery.
History and architecture
It replaced White Hart Lane, demolished in 2017 after 118 years. Designed by Populous with a dual football/NFL brief: the natural grass pitch slides under the south stand while an artificial surface rises for the American league. The South Stand, seating 17,500 in a single tier, is the largest one-tier stand in the Premier League. The stadium includes a Beavertown microbrewery and Europe's longest bar.
Iconic moments
It has hosted the 2022 Carabao Cup final, NFL regular-season games (Green Bay Packers vs New York Giants among the most memorable), professional boxing (Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk preparations) and concerts by Guns N' Roses, Beyoncé and Taylor Swift. In the Premier League, Spurs have beaten Manchester City and Arsenal here in memorable matches.
Getting there and matchday tips
Easiest access is White Hart Lane (National Rail), a 3-minute walk. Seven Sisters (Metro Victoria line) also serves the area with a 20-minute walk, plus Tottenham Hale with bus connections. NFL days often add shuttles. Avoid driving: no official parking. Arrive 60–90 minutes early to enjoy the brewery or the long bar before kickoff.
Where to sit and what to eat
Lower South Stand is the heart of the Spurs atmosphere. West Stand offers central lateral views with premium hospitality (Tunnel Club, Sky Lounge). East Stand adds wide sightlines at varied prices.
